The Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine, on behalf of the World Federation of Intensive and Critical Care (WFICC), is pleased to announce that we will host the 20th World Congress of Intensive and Critical Care (WCICC2029) in September 2029 in Kyoto. Nearly four decades after the last congress was held here, we are honored and delighted to welcome it back to Kyoto.

The WCICC is a major global academic congress organized by the WFICC, which represents 90 member countries. This congress provides an exceptional opportunity for medical professionals engaged in intensive and critical care from around the world to gather in Kyoto.

We look forward to working together to ensure the successful realization of the 20th WCICC in 2029.
