Internal regulations for the editorial board of the journal of the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine

Article 1. Tasks of the editorial board of the journal of the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine (committee)

• 1. Editing and publishing of the journal
• 2. Preparation of a budget plan required for the publication of the journal

Article 2. Composition of the committee

• 1. A small number of regular members from the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine

Article 3. Selection of committee members

• 1. Appropriate members for the committee shall be selected at the committee meeting and determined with board meeting approval.
• 2. The committee chairman and vice chairman shall be selected by and from committee members and have board meeting approval.

Article 4. Term of committee members

• 1. The term of committee members shall be one year, and the maximum consecutive term will be six years.
• 2. If a committee member is not able to complete his/her term of office and another person is to serve for the remaining term of his/her predecessor, this period would not be counted as his/her term of office.

Article 5: Additional provision

These internal regulations will take effect on August 27, 1993.
